Not all hemp teas are the same. Often you only get the leaves, which may have a pleasant taste, but due to the lack of or very low presence of cannabinoids, they do not have the same effect as a hemp tea made from flowers or near-flower trim material. Trimming our flowers produces a very high-quality raw material, the trim. This consists of approximately 50% flower material and 50% near-flower leaves, which are already covered with valuable trichomes that reflect the cannabinoids. This trim is 1:1 what you will find in our hemp tea. The most important thing, however, is the preparation. Without the correct preparation, the valuable cannabinoids are not activated and are not dissolved and made available accordingly. Cannabinoids are not naturally water-soluble and therefore do not dissolve from the leaf and flower material when the tea is simply brewed with hot water. In the worst case, the brewed material ends up in the organic waste with the valuable substances. The most important rule for hemp tea is that something fatty must be added to the tea so that the cannabinoids can dissolve in the fat. This can be a dash of milk or cream. A spoonful of coconut oil or butter will also work, but this is up to each individual. The tea should then be left to brew for around 5 to 10 minutes so that all the substances can dissolve well and the tea gets a strong taste.
